American Warfare: Societal Influences and Impacts

A 9 page discussion of the impacts of war on American society during the early history of the country. Provides information regarding the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the Mexican American War, emphasizing the needs of those that feel that they are oppressed to rise up against their oppressors. Concludes that along with the progression from one war to another in early U.S. history, American ideology and our sense of nationalism was evolving into that we enjoy today.
